The Certified Nursing Assistant Training program at 1 of a Kind Medical Services is approved by the Arkansas Department of Higher Education and the Office of Long Term Care.  

This course provides 90 hours of training required by the State of Arkansas for state certification of Nursing Assistants. The curriculum prepares you to work in hospitals, clinics, long-term care facilities, and in-home care.

  • Supplies $50.00
  • Students are required to wear navy blue uniforms during clinical rotations.  1 of a Kind students receive a uniform discount at My Uniform Corner.

  • Is 1 of a Kind Medical Services a licensed school?

    Yes, 1 of a Kind Medical Services is licensed and certified with the Arkansas Department of Higher Education and the Arkansas State Department of Health Office, of Long Term Care.

  • Is financial aid available?

    Yes, sponsorships and payment plans are available.


    1 of a Kind Medical Services works with local, long-term care facilities, which often provide sponsorships to our CNA students. In return, the student agrees to be employed with the facility for a specific length of time. 


    Our Education Coordinator will keep you informed of facilities offering sponsorship or will discuss our payment plan with you. There are also other sponsorships available through the Arkansas Department of Workforce Services.

  • What kind of job could I get with a CNA Certification?

    CNAs are in high demand and employment opportunities are plenty. Finding a job may not be a challenge, but deciding where you want to work might not be as easy. You will have a wide variety of health care settings to choose from, including:


    • Hospitals
    • Medical Clinics
    • Long Term Care Facilities
    • Assisted Living Facilities
    • Home Care 

  • What grade is required to be eligible to take the state exam?

    Students must maintain a 70% grade average and be able to perform the skills required by the Office of Long Term Care Performance Record.

  • Where can I find a practice test to help me prepare for the state certification?

    You will find a practice test for Arkansas CNA Certification with 50 multiple-choice questions and an answer key.

  • When will I have to renew my CNA certification?

    You have to renew your CNA certification every two years. Follow the link below and scroll down to Registry Services. You will find instructions to complete the online renewal process or you may choose to print out the form and send it in the mail. You will need to have your CNA license.

  • I'm moving to Arkansas from another state. How do I transfer my CNA certificate?
